Vikrant Massey’s Film The Sabarmati Report Collects ₹1.69 Crore on Day One
New Delhi: Vikrant Massey starrer The Sabarmati Report has been generating significant buzz in recent days. The film finally hit theaters on Friday, November 15. The first-day box office collection figures are now out.
Based on the tragic Sabarmati Express incident in Godhra, Gujarat, in 2002, the film earned ₹1.69 crore on its opening day.
According to industry tracker Sacnilk, The Sabarmati Report collected ₹1.69 crore on its first day. With a production budget of ₹50 crore, the film has had a slow start, raising curiosity about its weekend performance at the box office.
The film features Vikrant Massey, Rashi Khanna, and Riddhi Dogra in lead roles. Directed by Dheeraj Saran and produced by Ekta Kapoor, the movie aims to shed light on one of the most controversial events in recent Indian history.
