Ghaziabad (UP): Wave City in Ghaziabad is fast emerging as the preferred destination for people living in Delhi and the National Capital Region (NCR). Positioned to become one of the country’s most hi-tech cities, the township is attracting residents with its open environment, modern infrastructure, and affordable housing options.
While land and property prices continue to skyrocket across Delhi-NCR, Wave City still offers affordable and smart homes, making it a strong draw for middle-class buyers.
Its biggest advantage is excellent connectivity. With direct links to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and the Delhi-Meerut Expressway, the township’s location has become even more significant. Local residents note that while connectivity was once a concern, rapid development has now made commuting to and from Delhi-NCR far more convenient.
Equipped with schools, colleges, hospitals, banks, and markets, the area has quickly risen to the top of people’s priority lists. The clean air and green spaces also provide residents with a refreshing natural environment.
According to reports, Wave Group launched the township project in 2009-10 under the state’s Hi-Tech Township Policy. Envisioned as a blend of technology-integrated housing and vast green spaces, the project has now taken full shape. Although it faced hurdles due to farmers’ protests, court orders later cleared the way for smooth progress. As a result, demand for homes in Wave City continues to rise steadily.
