Yamaha Music India Appoints A.R. Rahman as Brand Ambassador to Boost Music Education and ‘Made in India’ Vision

New Delhi : Yamaha Music India Pvt. Ltd. has announced the appointment of A.R. Rahman, Academy Award-winning composer and globally acclaimed music icon, as its Brand Ambassador, marking a significant step toward strengthening India’s music ecosystem.
A.R. Rahman, known for taking Indian music to global audiences, embodies the spirit of innovation and excellence that aligns with Yamaha Music India’s vision of nurturing musical talent and expanding structured music education across the country.
Mr. Yamamoto Taketoshi, Managing Director of Yamaha Music India, said that music lies at the core of Yamaha’s philosophy and emphasized the importance of promoting India’s rich musical heritage on the global stage. He highlighted that the company’s ‘Made in India’ initiative, along with its collaboration with Rahman, aims to inspire the next generation of musicians.
