Celebrating Courage and Achievement: MBCN Marks 27th Annual Day with Inspiring Performances by Special Children

Noida: Determination can turn challenges into mere words—and this spirit was vividly on display at Mata Bhagwanti Chadha Niketan (MBCN), which celebrated its 27th Annual Day with great enthusiasm and pride. This year’s theme, “Bandhan” (Bond), not only highlighted the academic progress of students but also honored their confidence and their journey toward carving a place in society.

Operated under the Ponty Chadha Foundation (PCF), the celebration began with an emotional and energetic welcome dance. Students showcased their talent through a variety of cultural performances, including plays, mime acts, and folk dances—sending a strong message that they are second to none in any field. The event also emphasized the crucial role of family support in the holistic development of children with disabilities.

On the occasion, Wave Group Managing Director Rajeev Gupta stated that the institution’s mission has always centered on care and education. “Today, we are extending this commitment beyond the school walls. Our goal is not just to impart knowledge, but also to create pathways for employment and real-world opportunities for persons with disabilities,” he said. He added that the newly announced initiatives are designed to translate vision into tangible outcomes, enabling students to succeed beyond academics.

Gupta further revealed that MBCN has initiated a digital transformation under the leadership of ‘RUTA’ AI Consultant, aiming to build the world’s first AI-powered ecosystem of its kind. This system will convert student records and therapy inputs into structured intelligence, serving as a support framework for both educators and parents. The technology is designed not to replace human care but to strengthen empathetic education.

Dr. Vandana Sharma, Director and Principal of MBCN, said the institution has always strived to create an environment where every child receives love and support. “Through specialized education, we aim to equip our students with the skills and confidence they need to grow and succeed in life. We will continue to collaborate with organizations, NGOs, and volunteers to create employment pathways for children with special needs,” she said.

Established in 1999, MBCN has been a comprehensive learning center dedicated to the overall development of children with special needs. The institution offers rehabilitation and support services in areas such as early intervention, speech therapy, special education, sports training, physiotherapy, yoga therapy, occupational therapy, counseling, and vocational training. Over the years, it has worked with thousands of children, helping them build confidence, develop essential life skills, and lead more independent and meaningful lives.
