Ketaki Dave reprises her role as stern grandmom, bringing new twists as she returns to Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible
New Delhi : Sony SAB’s ‘Pushpa Impossible’ takes us through the heartwarming tale of Pushpa (Karuna Pandey), a kind-hearted woman who has a strong determination taking on challenges with unwavering positivity. Recently, the audience witnessed the Patel household falling apart since the time Pushpa resigned from her duty as a mother. Deepti (Garima Parihar) and Ashwin (Navin Pandita) also moved out to a house given by Deepti’s office along with her mom Sonal (Bhakti Rathod), making their lives a mess.
Meanwhile, Pushpa’s estranged husband Dilip Patel (Jayesh More) has been trying to find a way to get the Patel family together but hasn’t been so successful. In the upcoming episodes, audiences will see Dilip joining hands with an unusual ally, Kunjabala (Ketaki Dave) i.e. Deepti’s grandmother who comes to live with them. With Sonal and Kunjbala’s continuous fights about their differing lifestyles, Ashwin and Deepti realise that moving back to this house was not a good decision as they didn’t face such issues when living with Pushpa.
Ketaki Dave, who essays the role of Kunjbala in Pushpa Impossible said, “I am looking forward to re-entering Pushpa Impossible with the return of my character Kunjbala in the story. Kunjbala is someone whose thoughts are frozen in time, and she disagrees with the modern outlook. She believes that a family should live together and therefore she joins Dilip Patel to ensure that her granddaughter Deepti is living happily with her in-laws. Kunjbala is a stern grandmother and is a different character from what I have played so far in my career and I love portraying her. I am glad that she is making a return as it promises an eventful time in the show.”
Tune in to watch Pushpa Impossible every Monday to Saturday at 9:30 PM on Sony SAB
