Actress Kangana Shares Memories of Her Rajasthan Trip on Social Media

Chittorgarh: Bollywood actress and Member of Parliament Kangana Ranaut recently shared memories of her trip to Rajasthan on the social media platform X. She mentioned spending holidays with her family in Rajasthan, a land of heroes that always brings her joy. Kangana shared photos from her visits to the Haldi Ghati Museum, Chittorgarh Fort, Meera Bai Temple, Pichola Lake (Udaipur), and the Shrinathji Temple (Nathdwara, Rajsamand).

On Thursday evening, Kangana spent some time at Chittorgarh Fort, capturing the experience in photos she later shared along with her thoughts. Her stylish look in these pictures has received numerous likes. Several actors and actresses have previously visited Chittorgarh Fort for shoots, but Kangana’s photos have brought renewed attention to this historic site among her fans and the Bollywood community. She visited Udaipur on Wednesday and spent an hour or two at Chittorgarh Fort on Thursday evening, exploring Kumbha Mahal, Vijay Stambh, Meera Temple, and Kumbh Shyam Temple, sharing her happiness through photos on X.

In her post, Kangana asked if people knew why Lord Krishna of Mathura resides in Nathdwara, Rajasthan. She explained that Krishna had promised Meera he would live with her in Udaipur. It’s believed that during the Mughal invasions, Krishna directed the priests to move his idol to Udaipur, where it was relocated overnight to Nathdwara and has remained since. Kangana pondered, “Can one decide whether Meera loves Krishna more or Krishna loves Meera more?”

Reflecting on her visit to Meera Bai’s palace and temple, Kangana shared that after visiting her family deity’s temple, she toured Chittorgarh Fort and Meera Bai’s palace and temple. She described the palace as impressive and the temple as divine. In the temple, where Lord Krishna’s idol is worshipped alongside a small statue of Meera at his feet, Kangana noted Krishna’s idol had fair skin, delicate bones, and long, straight light-brown hair—distinct from his usual dark appearance. As she meditated, she felt Krishna and Meera were one, moved so deeply that her eyes filled with tears. “When you’re fully immersed in someone, there is no ‘you’—only ‘they’ remain,” she expressed.
