A Compassionate Government Dedicated to Welfare of the Poor: Prime Minister Modi
New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed the NDA government’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of the poor as the nation marks 11 years of transformative and inclusive governance. He emphasized that over the past decade, every initiative has been aimed at service, good governance, and poverty alleviation.Highlighting the impact of key welfare schemes such as PM Awas Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, and Ayushman Bharat, the Prime Minister said these initiatives have expanded access to housing, clean cooking fuel, banking services, and healthcare. He also underlined the role of Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT), digital inclusion, and rural infrastructure in ensuring transparency and efficient delivery of benefits.
In a post on X, PM Modi wrote:
