Aamir Khan’s Dream Project: A Film Based on the Mahabharata
New Delhi : Bollywood’s “Perfectionist,” Aamir Khan, has been away from the limelight for quite some time. After the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir faced a major setback, while his ex-wife Kiran Rao’s Laapataa Ladies garnered tremendous success and was even selected as India’s official entry for the Oscars. Recently, Aamir shared updates about his dream project, a film based on the epic Mahabharata.
In a recent interview, Aamir revealed his plans for the future and shared several insights. Talking about his goals for the next year, he said:
“I really want to do more films and give opportunities to new talent. I will continue acting myself. Usually, as an actor, I do one film every 2-3 years, but over the next decade, I plan to do at least one film every year. I hope to make films that I enjoy and also explore stories that matter to me.”
Aamir spoke about Mahabharata, calling it his dream project. He admitted that the project is both ambitious and daunting: “This is my dream project, but it’s very scary. It’s a massive undertaking, and I fear I might make mistakes. It’s a huge responsibility because this is a story that is deeply cherished by every Indian. I want to do it in the right way. My aim is to make every Indian proud. I don’t know if I will succeed, but I want to see how it turns out.”
