“Be Bold, Not a Whisper”: Hemant Soren to Party Workers
Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren accused the BJP of running a “whisper campaign” and urged the people of the state to counter it boldly. Soren claimed that individuals from Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, and Bengal have initiated a new conspiracy aimed at misleading Jharkhand’s residents. He appealed to the people, saying, “Today and tomorrow, don’t whisper for me—campaign openly. Jharkhandis are not ones to fear or speak softly. Be bold, not a whisper!”
The Chief Minister took to social media platform X on Monday, alleging that the BJP’s “whisper campaign” is visible in assembly constituencies where elections are being held. He claimed that discussions at local gatherings are part of this plot to spread misinformation.
Accusations of Lavish Spending
Soren further alleged that more than ₹1 crore has been spent per constituency on this campaign. He criticized the campaign, calling it a fear-based tactic. “They won’t talk about their own work. Instead, they’ll try to scare you with lies and fake concerns,” Soren said.
He also highlighted the absence of genuine issues in the opposition’s agenda, stating that their primary aim is to divert attention from real problems.
A Jibe at BJP’s Fundraising Tactics
In a scathing remark, Soren said, “We don’t have electoral bonds, fake medicines, or counterfeit vaccines to play with people’s lives and amass wealth.” He accused the BJP of exploiting such tactics while urging his supporters to stand firm and campaign openly.
Soren’s message emphasizes confidence and active participation as the state gears up for electoral battles, with the Chief Minister positioning himself as a defender of Jharkhand’s integrity and spirit.
