Bihar News : 6 Killed in Road Accidents Over the Past 24 Hours

Patna: In the last 24 hours, six people lost their lives in separate road accidents across different districts of Bihar. The highest number of casualties occurred in Samastipur district, where three people died. One person each died in Jehanabad, Banka, and Rohtas districts.

In Samastipur, at Hansopur Chowk in Khanpur, a truck ran over two young men riding a bike, killing both on the spot. This accident occurred late at night. The second incident in the district happened at Malpur in Dalsinghsarai, where an unidentified vehicle hit a farmer and his cow on State Highway-88. Both the farmer and the cow died in the accident.

The third accident took place on the Sasaram-Chausa road near Konar village in the Shiv Sagar area of Rohtas district. A dumper truck hit a father and son from behind while they were on a bike, killing the father instantly. The son was injured, and the driver fled the scene.

In the fourth incident, in Banka’s Amarpur on English Mod-Shambhuganj Road, a bike rider died after crashing into a house wall. Due to the late hour, no one noticed the accident until the morning when locals informed the police. In Jehanabad, on National Highway 83 near Mussi village, a cyclist was hit by an unidentified vehicle late at night. The victim, 57-year-old Ravindra Yadav of Dhindhour Bigha, died on the spot.
