BJP Releases First List of 29 Candidates for Delhi Assembly Elections

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) released its first list of 29 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections on Saturday. In a significant move, BJP has fielded Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma against Arvind Kejriwal from the key New Delhi Assembly constituency and Ramesh Bidhuri against Chief Minister Atishi from the Kalkaji constituency. Additionally, Kailash Gahlot, who defected from Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to join BJP, has been given a ticket from the Bijwasan seat.

It is noteworthy that Aam Aadmi Party has already announced its candidates for all 70 seats, while Congress has declared candidates for 43 constituencies.

Although preparations are in full swing, the official announcement of the Delhi Assembly election dates is yet to be made.
