Cabinet Reshuffle Likely Soon in Madhya Pradesh; Over a Dozen Ministers May Lose Their Seats

Bhopal/New Delhi: A major reshuffle in the Madhya Pradesh state cabinet is expected soon after the conclusion of the ongoing legislative session. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav recently met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP National President J.P. Nadda during his visit to Delhi. Discussions reportedly centered around the state’s current political climate, coordination between the party organization and government, and possible changes in the cabinet.

According to sources, the Chief Minister also met with top officials of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) to brief them on the political and administrative situation in the state. These high-level meetings have fueled speculation about an impending overhaul of the cabinet.

Trusted sources indicate that the performance and public image of nearly a dozen ministers have come under scrutiny. Names being discussed include Deputy CM Jagdish Devda, senior leader Kailash Vijayvargiya, Vishwas Sarang, Vijay Shah, Sampatiya Uikey, Pratima Bagri, Narendra Shivaji Patel, and Dilip Ahirwar. Several of these ministers are reportedly facing allegations of corruption, which have tarnished the government’s image.

Senior BJP insiders believe that a cabinet reshuffle is necessary to restore public trust and enhance transparency in governance ahead of the upcoming municipal and panchayat elections. With approval from the party high command, the Chief Minister may soon move forward with a new team.

Though there has been no official statement from the BJP on the matter, political circles are abuzz with speculation and anticipation.
