CM Yogi Enhances the Grandeur and Divinity of Kumbh with Saints: Kailash Vijayvargiya
Mahakumbh Nagar: During the ongoing Prayagraj Mahakumbh, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad President Shri Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj, along with saints, have added to the grandeur and divinity of the Kumbh. This was stated by Kailash Vijayvargiya, National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), on Tuesday when he visited the Mahakumbh Mela.
He emphasized that the importance of the Ganga is not only religious but also significant from cultural and social perspectives. He expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to take a dip in the Triveni Sangam during the Prayagraj Mahakumbh, considering it a great fortune. He also appreciated the arrangements made by the police and mela administration, noting that they were commendable, as pilgrims from all corners of the country have gathered in large numbers for the Kumbh.
Vijayvargiya further praised the behavior of the police officers at the Mahakumbh, saying they were not only helping but also guiding the pilgrims. He mentioned that the Mahakumbh is at the peak of its divinity and grandeur, and he felt honored to receive the blessings of the divine saints.
On his visit to the Mahakumbh, Kailash Vijayvargiya reached the Niranjani Akhara’s camp, where he met Shri Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj, President of Akhil Bharatiya Akhada Parishad and Maa Mansa Devi Temple Trust. They discussed the arrangements for the Kumbh and Vijayvargiya received blessings from the saints.
Shri Mahant Ravindra Puri Maharaj welcomed Kailash Vijayvargiya by draping him with a shawl. He shared that Maa Ganga is referred to as “Mokshadayini” (the giver of salvation) in Sanatan Dharma and culture, as it is believed that taking a dip in her holy waters purifies the soul and destroys sins. He thanked Vijayvargiya for attending the Mahakumbh and wished that Maa Ganga’s blessings continue to guide him in advancing the country’s progress.
Present on the occasion were several distinguished saints, including Shri Mahant Ram Ratan Giri, Shri Mahant Omkar Giri, Shri Mahant Radhe Giri, Shri Mahant Dinesh Giri, Mahant Rakesh Giri, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Lalitnand Giri, Mahant Shivvan, Mahant Darshan Bharti, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Aadi Yogi Puri, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Anantanand, Mahamandaleshwar Swami Annapurna Bharti, Mahant Rajgiri, and other prominent saints.
