Gujarat CM Praises the Exceptional Arrangements at Kumbh, Says Bathing at Triveni Sangam is a Blessing
Maha Kumbh Nagar (UP): Amidst the sea of devotion at the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel arrived on Friday to take a sacred dip. After bathing at the Triveni Sangam, he praised the arrangements made by the Yogi government. He stated that the Kumbh region has been beautifully organized, ensuring that no one faces any inconvenience. He further added that taking a dip at the Triveni Sangam is a matter of great fortune for him. Before the holy bath, the Chief Minister also offered prayers at the Bade Hanuman Temple and later visited the Gujarat Pavilion located in Sector 7.
Sacred Bath and Rituals
After his holy dip at Triveni Sangam, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel wholeheartedly appreciated the arrangements made by the Yogi government. He remarked, “The facilities in the Kumbh region are exceptional, and no one is facing any difficulties.” Praising the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and CM Yogi Adityanath, he said, “Under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the arrangements made by CM Yogi’s government, everything from cleanliness to essential services has been exceptionally well-managed.”
Gujarat’s CM expressed his gratitude, saying, “Having the opportunity to take this sacred bath is a matter of great fortune for me. The Triveni Sangam, which is the center of India’s faith, makes every individual feel blessed after taking a dip here.”

Escorted by full security, CM Bhupendra Patel reached the Triveni Sangam via motorboat. Amidst Vedic chants and hymns, he took the ritualistic dip and also offered water (Arghya) to the Sun God. Accompanying him, Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi also took a holy dip. Following this, the Chief Minister performed Ganga Puja and participated in the Ganga Aarti.
Inauguration of a 400-Bed Dormitory
Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel arrived in Prayagraj on Friday morning at 9 AM via state aircraft. He was warmly received by Industrial Development Minister Nand Gopal Gupta Nandi. From there, he proceeded straight to the Bade Hanuman Temple, where he performed prayers and aarti with full religious rites, accompanied by Vedic recitations.
The temple’s Mahant and Peethadheeshwar of Baghambari Gaddi, Balbir Giri Maharaj, presented the Chief Minister with a replica of the reclining Hanuman idol as a token of blessing. After offering prayers at the Bade Hanuman Temple, CM Bhupendra Patel visited the Gujarat Pavilion in Sector 7. He inspected various exhibits, including replicas of the Statue of Unity, Sabarmati Ashram, and Sun Temple. Additionally, he toured the medical camp, literature stalls, and other galleries, appreciating the arrangements.
To accommodate the large number of devotees arriving from Gujarat, the Chief Minister also inaugurated a 400-bed dormitory at the site.
