New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation tonight at around 8 PM. His address comes at a critical moment amid ongoing discussions surrounding Operation Sindoor, launched in response to the recent Pahalgam terror attack.
The address also coincides with a significant development — both India and Pakistan have reportedly agreed to a ceasefire across land, air, and sea, indicating a possible de-escalation following heightened tensions. Vice Admiral A.N. Pramod emphasized that the Indian Navy operates as an integrated networked force capable of tackling multi-domain threats — from air, surface, and subsurface — through advanced sensor integration and coordinated combat systems.
Highlighting the evolving nature of terrorism, DGMO Lt. Gen. Rajiv Ghai remarked, “Innocent civilians were being targeted… the cup of sin had overflowed by the time it reached Pahalgam.” Air Marshal Bharti added that multiple attempts by Pakistan to use drones and unmanned combat aerial vehicles were neutralized by indigenously developed soft and hard kill counter-UAS systems, supported by well-trained Indian air defense personnel.
