JDU Leader Neeraj Kumar Hits Back at RJD – “Tej Pratap Has Repeatedly Breached Discipline, Tejashwi Should Move to Cancel His Membership”
Patna (Bihar): JDU leader Neeraj Kumar launched a scathing attack on the RJD and Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family on Sunday. Questioning the conduct of Tej Pratap Yadav, he stated that this was not the first time he had violated party discipline.
Neeraj Kumar said, “Tej Pratap Yadav is the son of Lalu Prasad Yadav. This is not the first time he has shown indiscipline. Even when a crime was committed against the granddaughter of former Bihar CM Daroga Prasad Rai, Lalu Yadav remained silent.”
He further said that if Lalu Yadav has truly expelled Tej Pratap from the party, then his younger son Tejashwi Yadav should now move a formal request in the Bihar Assembly to cancel Tej Pratap’s membership.
“Lalu Yadav claims to have removed Tej Pratap from both the party and the Assembly, but Tejashwi Yadav says, ‘He is my elder brother.’ Stop playing with words—if you’re serious, file a proper application for cancellation of membership.”
This statement by the JDU leader has further intensified the spotlight on the internal conflict within the RJD and the tensions within the Lalu family. Neeraj Kumar made it clear that this is not merely a family matter, but one of constitutional and political significance.
All eyes are now on Tejashwi Yadav, as the political community awaits to see whether he takes any formal steps against his elder brother in the Assembly.
