Multiple Officers Transferred in Delhi Police
New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has taken a significant step towards strengthening law and order in the national capital. On Tuesday, the same day as the Delhi government’s budget announcement, a massive transfer of 28 police officers was carried out. The list includes IPS and DANICS officers, with some also receiving promotions. The transfer order was issued by Kulvinder Singh, Under Secretary, MHA.
According to the official notification, these transfers are effective immediately. Among the transferred officers are 2001 batch IPS officers B. Shankar Jaiswal, IPS Paramaditya, Vikramjit Singh, Pushpendra Kumar, and Nupur Prasad, along with 2008 batch IAS officer Sharat Kumar Sinha.
As per the new appointments:
IPS B. Shankar Jaiswal has been appointed Joint CP, Central Range.
IPS Paramaditya will now serve as Joint CP, Special Branch, moving from Central Range.
IPS Pushpendra Kumar (2006 batch), previously Joint CP, Security, has been shifted as Joint CP, Eastern Range.
IPS Nupur Prasad has been reassigned from General Administration to Joint CP, Licensing.
IPS Vikramjit Singh has been transferred to the Security division.
Additionally, 2010 batch IPS officer Sanjay Bhatia, previously Additional Joint CP, Crime, will now serve as Additional CP, Headquarters. IPS Akanksha Yadav (2014 batch) has been appointed as DCP, Security.
These transfers are expected to enhance administrative efficiency and law enforcement capabilities in Delhi.
