Prime Minister Modi in Chandrapur: Leaders of Maha Vikas Aghadi are the Biggest Players in Corruption
Mumbai: BJP’s top leader and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday stated in Chimur, Chandrapur district, that the leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) are the biggest players in corruption. He criticized them for “earning a double PhD” in halting development work, while the NDA government has launched multiple schemes to make Maharashtra prosperous.
Addressing an election rally in Chimur, Prime Minister Modi emphasized that the double-engine NDA alliance government will work at double speed for the state’s development. He expressed confidence that the BJP’s manifesto would guarantee Maharashtra’s growth.
The Prime Minister mentioned that foreign investment is increasing in Maharashtra, and over a dozen Vande Bharat trains are operating across the state. Railway lines are being expanded, and the number of airports is rising. He assured that the NDA alliance is committed to the state’s progress, but the leaders of the Maha Vikas Aghadi are obstructing development initiatives.
Targeting MVA leaders, he accused them of halting major development projects like the Metro, Samruddhi Highway, and Jal Yukt Shivar. “Their job is to block, delay, and derail any project,” Modi said. He added that the MVA has no capacity for Maharashtra’s development, and the people of the state should not give a license to these “corrupt players” of the Aghadi.
The Prime Minister also criticized the Congress for always dividing people and called for unity, saying, “If we stay united, we will be safe.”
