Red Fort Metro Station Blast: Home Minister Amit Shah Visits LNJP Hospital to Meet the Injured

New Delhi: Following the massive explosion near the Red Fort Metro Station in the national capital, Union Home Minister Amit Shah visited Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) Hospital late Monday evening to meet the injured and review the situation.
During his visit, Shah inquired about the condition of those injured in the blast and spoke to doctors and hospital authorities. He directed officials to ensure that no lapse occurs in the treatment of the injured and that the best possible medical care is provided, especially to those critically hurt.
After visiting the hospital, the Home Minister also inspected the blast site and reviewed the situation with officials from the Delhi Police, NIA, and the forensic team. Shah asserted that those responsible for the explosion will not be spared, and efforts are underway to identify and bring the culprits to justice at the earliest.
It may be recalled that a car explosion occurred near Gate No. 1 of the Red Fort Metro Station on Monday evening, killing eight people and injuring several others. Investigation teams from the NIA, Delhi Police, and forensic experts are jointly probing the incident.
