Senior Journalist and Political Analyst Krishnamohan Jha Honored with Media Ratna Award

New Delhi/Bhopal: Renowned senior journalist and political analyst Krishnamohan Jha was honored with the prestigious Media Ratna Award during a grand event held at the India International Centre, New Delhi. The event marked the 125th birth anniversary of the great freedom fighter, former legislator, and Bihar’s first Chief Minister’s Parliamentary Secretary, the late Shyam Narayan Singh. The award was presented by former Rajya Sabha MP Rajmani Patel and Dr. Kailash Bihari Singh, Founder and Chairman of the Shyam Narayan Singh Foundation. In Mr. Jha’s absence, journalist Sudhir Kumar accepted the award on his behalf.

Expressing his gratitude for the honor, Krishnamohan Jha said, “Due to unavoidable reasons, I could not attend the event. I am deeply grateful to the jury of the Shyam Narayan Singh Foundation for bestowing this recognition upon me. I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to my journalist friends Manvendra Kumar and Sudhir Kumar. Every award brings with it a greater sense of responsibility.”

The event, organized by the Shyam Narayan Singh Foundation on January 24, 2024, featured the release of various publications, including articles and memoirs on Shyam Narayan Singh’s life, the Hindi magazine Magadh Shakhsiyat, the English magazine The Truth, and a commemorative souvenir by the chief guest.

Additionally, since 2018, the foundation has been honoring individuals from various walks of life who have contributed to communal harmony and social goodwill. This year, seven eminent personalities were recognized in the Shyam Narayan Singh Sadbhavna Samman series.
