Tree Plantation Held in Memory of the Martyrs of the Pahalgam Terror Attack with a Resolve to Eradicate Jihadi Terrorism

New Delhi : In a symbolic act of remembrance and resilience, a tree plantation drive was organized at Astha Kunj Park in South Delhi to eternally honour the martyrs who laid down their lives in the heinous terrorist attack at Pahalgam. The event was spearheaded by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), and socially conscious members of the Hindu community.

While planting a sapling, VHP’s National Spokesperson Shri Vinod Bansal stated,
“We have planted numerous saplings here today at Astha Kunj Park to immortalize the memory of those who sacrificed their lives in the Pahalgam terror attack. VHP and the entire Hindu society are united in their vow to not rest until terrorism is completely eradicated. Our goal is to wipe out terrorism and the poisonous Pakistani jihadi mindset from the face of India.”

He further added,
“From the Ekadashi two days after the Pahalgam attack, daily Yagnas (sacred fire rituals) were initiated at Arya Samaj Mandir, Sant Nagar, South Delhi, for the peace of the souls of the immortal martyrs. These Yagnas will continue until justice is served and terrorism is eliminated. Today’s tree plantation is a part of that unbroken vow. Mothers, children, traders, and all sections of society have joined us in this collective resolve.”

Referring to the brutality of the Pahalgam attack, Shri Bansal said,
“The terrorists verified religion by checking IDs, making victims recite Islamic verses, even forcing them to undress to confirm circumcision — just to ensure no Muslim was mistakenly targeted. What could be more gruesome than this face of jihadi terrorism? The entire world is shocked by this barbarity. Every Indian has taken a vow to destroy terrorism from its roots, and with Mother India’s blessings, we shall succeed.”

The event was organized under the coordination of RSS City Seva Pramukh Dr. Varun Kumar. Other notable attendees included RSS District Seva Pramukh Shri Jaikaran, District Environment Head Shri Jitin Rajput, City Karyavah Shri Sanjay Sikaria, City Business Head Shri Anmol Rana, Seva Bharti’s regional activist Shri Prakash Mishra, social workers Prof. S.K. Mishra and Dr. Ankur Raj, along with Arun Ji, Manish Ji, Laxman Ji, Narayan Ji, Tekraj Ji, Banwari Ji, Keshav Ji, Dakshesh Ji, Ishan Ji, Kavish Ji, Pradeep Ji, Shubhang Ji, Anil Ji, Rajesh Ji, and many other dignitaries from the Hindu society.

The program stood as a powerful symbol of the Hindu community’s unwavering commitment to rebuilding a peaceful, terror-free world.
