VHP’s Board of Trustees meet in Maha Kumbh scheduled from February 7
Prayagraj (U.P.) : The three-day long meeting of the Central Board of Trustees and the Governing Council of Vishva Hindu Parishad is going to be held from February 07 at the VHP’s Mega Camp set up near Jhusi in the Tent City of the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj. Giving details about this, the Int’L Secretary General of Vishva Hindu Parishad Shri Bajrang Lal Bagra said that VHP office-bearers from Bharat and abroad will brainstorm in issues like the liberation of Hindu temples from government’s control, population imbalance, autocratic and unlimited rights of Waqf Boards, the atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh at the hands of Jihadis, liberation of national Dharmasthals like Kashi and Mathura after Ayodhya, etc. There may also be discussions about organizational expansion and some special issues related to Hindu society in different states.
Addressing a press conference at the Mahakumbh Camp of VHP, Shri Bagra also said that Hindu society has been struggling with a few social evils for centuries. We have undertaken many campaigns to get rid of untouchability and promote social harmony. Strengthening the Hindu family system, protecting the environment and ecology and making the Hindu society self-aware are the great needs in today’s times.
Leading representatives from 45 Prants (provinces) across the country and several countries outside Bharat, including VHP Int’L President Hon’ble Advocate Shri Alok Kumar, Organizing General Secretary Shri Milind Parande, Co-Organizing General Secretary Shri Vinayakrao Deshpande and heads of Bajrang Dal, Matri Shakti, Durga Vahini and all Aayams (dimensions) of the organization and many office-bearers including secretaries and organizing secretaries of zones and provinces, will take part in the meeting.
