Where There’s a Samajwadi Party Worker, Daughters Feel Fearful: Yogi Adityanath
Muzaffarnagar (UP): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has jumped into the election fray for the by-elections in the state. While addressing a rally in the Mirapur constituency of Muzaffarnagar on Friday, as part of the campaign for nine legislative assembly seats in Uttar Pradesh, CM Yogi launched a sharp attack on the opposition. Referring to the opposition, he said, “Where there’s a Samajwadi Party (SP) worker, daughters feel fearful.”
After addressing rallies in Jharkhand and Maharashtra, Yogi Adityanath turned his focus to UP’s by-elections. Speaking to the people of Mirapur constituency, he shared an anecdote, recalling a slogan that was popular between 2012 and 2017, “If there’s an SP flag on a vehicle, assume there’s a….” to which the crowd responded with “goon.” Building on this, CM Yogi added, “Brothers and sisters, today I can say that where there’s an SP worker, daughters feel fearful.”

The Chief Minister referenced incidents involving daughters facing violence, with allegations against individuals linked to the SP. He mentioned examples from Ayodhya and Kannauj, labeling this as the “new brand” of the Samajwadi Party and accused them of lacking shame. He claimed that such individuals are a threat to society as a whole, often playing with people’s faith.
Notably, CM Yogi is addressing three public rallies in western UP today, taking charge of the campaign for the nine assembly seats himself. Joining him are Deputy CMs Keshav Prasad Maurya, Brajesh Pathak, and other senior BJP leaders, all actively participating in the by-election campaign.
