Hamro Swabhiman Trust Conducts Major Cleanliness Drive at Yamuna Riverbank in Delhi

New Delhi : Leading social and humanitarian organization Hamro Swabhiman Trust actively participated in the Yamuna Cleanliness Campaign organized by the Delhi Government in collaboration with the RSS Environment Forum. As part of the initiative, the Trust carried out a large-scale cleanliness drive at Ram Ghat, a sacred stretch along the Yamuna River in Delhi.
Demonstrating its commitment to environmental conservation and social responsibility, office bearers, members, and volunteers of the Trust enthusiastically joined the campaign from early morning. During the drive, plastic waste, discarded clothing, and other dumped materials scattered along the riverbank were collected and properly disposed of.
The mega Yamuna cleanliness campaign, launched at the call of Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, witnessed the participation of more than 500 social and voluntary organizations. Hamro Swabhiman Trust reaffirmed its dedication to environmental protection and the promotion of social awareness through its active involvement in the initiative.
Following the successful completion of the campaign, the Trust’s key leaders, Prem Kshetri, Anita Gnyawali, and Rakesh Pradhan, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, supporters, and members who contributed their valuable time, effort, and cooperation to make the program a success.
The leadership emphasized that maintaining the cleanliness of the Yamuna is not merely a civic responsibility but also a collective commitment toward safeguarding the environment for future generations.
The Trust also announced its intention to expand its social initiatives across Delhi in the coming months, including tree plantation drives, environmental conservation programs, and “Operation Shuddhi”, aimed at promoting a cleaner, greener, and more socially aware society.
