Why Thousands of Passengers are Frustrated with IndiGo
New Delhi: Thousands of IndiGo passengers faced significant disruptions due to a seven-hour system outage on Saturday. Long queues formed at airports, with delays in check-ins, baggage handling, and hand-written boarding passes causing chaos. The airline’s system began slowing down around 11:15 AM, particularly impacting Mumbai airport. Though the system was restored after 6 PM, IndiGo acknowledged delays and apologized on social media, advising passengers to expect longer waiting times as normal operations resumed. IndiGo operates over 2,000 daily flights.
