Celebrations Begin at JDU Ahead of Bihar Election Results; Poster Reads – “Tiger Is Still Alive”

Patna: A day before the announcement of the Bihar Assembly election results, celebrations have already begun among the workers of the Janata Dal (United) [JDU]. Exit polls have predicted a victory for the NDA alliance, showing JDU emerging as one of the major parties. Filled with enthusiasm, JDU workers at the party’s state headquarters and across districts have started congratulating each other.
Outside the JDU state office in Patna, a large poster featuring Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has been put up. The poster reads — “Tiger is still alive — Nitish Kumar is the protector of Dalits, Mahadalits, Backward Classes, Extremely Backward Classes, and Upper Castes–Minorities.” The poster has been installed by JDU leader and minister Ranjit Singh.
According to party workers, the poster symbolizes the people’s trust in Nitish Kumar’s leadership and his image as a leader of development and inclusivity. The JDU office is witnessing scenes of celebration, with drums beating and sweets being distributed among supporters.
Meanwhile, Mahagathbandhan (Grand Alliance) leader Tejashwi Yadav has rejected the exit poll predictions, stating, “The real results will be out tomorrow. The people have voted in favor of the Mahagathbandhan.”
All eyes are now on the results to be declared tomorrow, which will decide who takes charge of Bihar — the NDA under Nitish Kumar’s leadership or the Mahagathbandhan led by Tejashwi Yadav.
