Lucknow University Issues Show-Cause Notice to Three Faculty Members

Lucknow  (UP): The Lucknow University administration has issued show-cause notices to three faculty members — Dr. Arshad Ali Jafri, Dr. Chandki Ram Gautam, and Prof. Monisha Banerjee.
The notice was issued in reference to a letter sent to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on November 12, in which the teachers alleged financial irregularities in the Boost Award Scheme.
The university administration stated that an inquiry found no factual basis for the allegations. Consequently, all three faculty members have been asked to submit their explanations within three days.
The administration has warned that failure to respond within the stipulated time will result in action as per rules.
