UP Prometheus added 1st franchise ol Shooting League

Noida: Senior officials from the National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) and leading Indian shooters were seen during the launch of the UP Prometheans franchise of the Shooting League of India at the Prometheus School Shooting Range in Noida on January 12, 2026. The event featured a live shooting showcase at the state-of-the-art 10-metre range, with administrators and Olympians stepping onto the firing line alongside young shooters training across multiple lanes, highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s growing grassroots and high-performance shooting ecosystem.
Among those present were NRAI President Kalikesh Singh Deo, Secretary General Pawan Kumar Singh and Vice President K. Sultan Singh, along with UP Prometheans franchise owner Mukesh Sharma. Prominent athletes in attendance included Jitu Rai, Ronjan Sodhi, Mansher Singh, Moraad Ali Khan and Akhil Sheoran, underlining the significance of Uttar Pradesh’s contribution to Indian shooting and the league’s vision of building a strong, sustainable talent pipeline.
