Amrit Udyan to Open for Public from February 3

New Delhi : President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu today graced the opening of the Amrit Udyan Winter Annuals Edition 2026 at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
The Amrit Udyan will be open for public viewing from February 3 to March 31, 2026. Visitors can explore the garden six days a week, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (last entry at 5:00 p.m.). The garden will remain closed on Mondays for maintenance and on March 4 on account of Holi.
Special Category Days
The Udyan will be exclusively open for special categories on the following dates:
March 3 – Defence Personnel
March 5 – Senior Citizens
March 10 – Women and Tribal Women’s Self-Help Groups
March 13 – Divyangjan
Booking Details
Entry to the garden is free of cost, but online booking is mandatory. Visitors must book their slots in advance through the official website. No on-the-spot booking facility will be available this year. Bookings for a particular day will close at 10:00 a.m. on the previous day.
Entry, Exit and Transport
Entry and exit for visitors will be through Gate No. 35 of the President’s Estate, near North Avenue. For convenience, a shuttle bus service will run every 30 minutes between Central Secretariat Metro Station and Gate No. 35 from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The last shuttle from Central Secretariat Metro Station will depart at 4:00 p.m.
Visitor Route and Attractions
The visitor route will cover:
Bal Vatika – Pulmeria Garden – Banyan Garden – Bonsai Garden – Babbling Brook – Central Lawn – Long Garden – Circular Garden
Along with tulips and various varieties of roses, visitors will be able to experience new attractions such as the Babbling Brook, a cascading water stream, and the Banyan Garden featuring reflexology paths.
Facilities for Visitors
Visitors are allowed to carry mobile phones, electronic keys, purses/handbags, water bottles, and milk bottles for infants. Drinking water, toilets, and first aid/medical facilities will be available along the route.
Apart from Amrit Udyan, visitors can also explore Rashtrapati Bhavan and the Rashtrapati Bhavan Museum from Tuesday to Sunday, and witness the Change-of-Guard Ceremony every Saturday at the Forecourt.
