One-Day Plant Genetic Resources Awareness Programme Held at Tawang

Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh): A one-day Plant Genetic Resources Awareness Programme was successfully organized at Zomkhang Hall, Tawang, aimed at sensitizing farmers on the importance of conserving traditional crop diversity and promoting sustainable agriculture practices.
The programme was inaugurated by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Tawang, Shri Rinchin Leta, in the presence of Dr. K.P. Mahapatra, Principal Scientist, NBPGR, New Delhi, Dr. Kuldeep Tripathy, Senior Scientist, NBPGR, and other distinguished dignitaries.
Dr. A. Tripathy, Head, KVK Tawang, extended a warm welcome to all participants and highlighted that the programme was conducted under the NEH Programme of the National Bureau of Plant Genetic Resources
