Mohit Raina–Priyamani’s First Collaboration: A New Chapter in Indo-Hollywood Cinema

Mumbai: Taking a significant and exciting leap in the world of global cinema, U.S.-based Red Bison Productions has joined hands with Mumbai’s Azure Entertainment. This collaboration is not just about making a film—it marks the beginning of a new era in Indo-U.S. storytelling.
The yet-untitled project is written and directed by Harsh Mahadeshwar. The story revolves around an immigrant family that moves beyond the traditional idea of the “American Dream” to explore identity, roots, and emotional belonging. Blending emotional depth with cinematic grandeur, the film aims to blur borders and place human emotions at its core.
For the first time, Priyamani and Mohit Raina will share screen space. Both actors are known for their powerful performances, and their fresh pairing is expected to be a major highlight for audiences. The film will be shot across New York City and New Jersey, as well as Delhi and Jammu and Kashmir, visually capturing the global journey of the narrative. Principal photography is scheduled to begin in April 2026.
Mohit Raina shared, “This project is extremely close to my heart. Addressing themes like identity and belonging with honesty is the film’s greatest strength. Being part of the first Indo-Hollywood venture by Red Bison Productions and Azure Entertainment is truly an honor.”
Priyamani added, “The emotional authenticity of the script immediately drew me in. The passion and sensitivity behind every creative decision are evident. I strongly believe this story will resonate with audiences worldwide.”
According to Red Bison Productions founder Romila Saraf Bhatt, “From the very beginning, this story needed a global voice. With artists like Priyamani and Mohit Raina, we are creating a film that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.”
Prashant Ramesh Mishra, CEO of Azure Entertainment, described the collaboration as a “turning point” for the company.
With filming set to commence in April 2026, this ambitious project signals the dawn of a promising new chapter in Indo-Hollywood cinema—where storytelling transcends borders and speaks to the world.
