Paris 2024 Olympics to witness a captivating India Experience at the India House exclusively curated by the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre

New  Delhi : The Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) is set to bring a vibrant cultural experience to the global stage at the India House, for the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics (July 27th to August 11th, 2024), starting with the Opening Ceremony with Bollywood singing sensation Shaan taking the stage. The India House will curate exclusive experiences through spectacular artistic showcases, art exhibits, live performances, and more. The celebration of India’s rich tapestry moves beyond its home turf and onto a prestigious global platform, offering a unique opportunity for international audiences to experience Indian heritage like never before. The initiative highlights Founder & Chairperson Mrs. Nita M. Ambani’s lifelong vision of showcasing the best of India to the world.

The Paris Olympics is among the most highly-anticipated Olympics in the history of the Games as they will mark a return to full-capacity crowds at the Olympics after eight long years. Adding to its glory and celebration of spirit will be the debut of the country’s inaugural hospitality house-India House, conceptualized by Reliance Foundation as part of its partnership with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA), which will be a celebration of the nation’s rich cultural and sporting heritage, showcasing India’s storied past, vibrant present, and exciting future alongside advances in technology and digitalisation.

Experience India’s Cultural Richness: The programming line-up at the House will feature a riveting concoction of live music and dance performances alongside celebrating India’s athletes their victories and medal wins, fan watch parties, signature exhibitions and a wide array of fan engagement activities, to bring the India experience alive & make it the place to be in Paris during the Games. The programming at India House will bring alive Mrs. Nita M. Ambani’s vision of showcasing the soul of India’s diversity to the world.

  • Musical performances: Witness sensational performances by artists like leading Bollywood singer Shaan; blending Indian classical music with global influences will be sitarist and composer Tommy Khosla & JAWARI band. Featuring alongside will be The Raghu Dixit Project, known for India’s contemporary music scene due to its fusion of traditional folk elements with modern sounds and Penn Masala, the world’s first and premier South Asian A Cappella group, that bridges cultural divides through music, blending Eastern and Western influences among others.
  • Design and Indian tattoo: Block printing with Swadesh: Try your hand at creating unique handicrafts like Indian block printing with experts.
  • Mallakhamb: Marvel at the unique sport of Mallakhamb (Indian pole wrestling) with dynamic displays by visually challenged athletes from Shree Samarth Vyayam Mandir, held at the site each day.
