Tata Power-DDL Secures A+ in Consumer Service Rating, retains 2nd Rank in Distribution Utilities Ranking Nationwide

New Delhi : Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL), a leading power utility supplying electricity to a populace of around 9 million in North Delhi, has received the highest rating (A+) from the Ministry of Power under the ‘Consumer Service Rating of Discoms (CSRD)’ framework for the financial year 2024–25.

Along with this excellent rating, Tata Power-DDL has also retained its position, having been ranked 2nd nationally in the Distribution Utility Ranking for both urban and overall utility categories.

With this overall rating, the discom has received ‘A+’ in Operational Reliability, ‘A’ each in Connection and Other Services, and Metering, Billing and Collection, and ‘A+’ in Fault Rectification and Grievance Redressal.
Commenting on the report, Mr. Dwijadas Basak, CEO, Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited said, “With the rising expectations of our consumers, we are constantly strengthening and upgrading our services and their delivery. Launched in 2021 by the Ministry of Power, the Consumer Service Rating of DISCOMs (CSRD) report evaluates DISCOMs’ performance in consumer service by setting baseline standards and expectations, including prompt and accurate metering and billing, timely and effective grievance redressal, and fair, transparent tariff-setting. The second edition of the Distribution Utilities Ranking (DUR) serves as a key instrument to objectively assess performance and encourage continuous improvement.
