Alia Bhatt Shares First Look Poster of ‘Jigra’; An Action Thriller on the Horizon

Mumbai: After the success of ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani,’ Alia Bhatt is set to return to the big screen with her new Bollywood film ‘Jigra.’ The actress took to Instagram to share the first look poster, hinting at a high-octane action thriller. The poster shows Alia standing on an overturned car, wielding a hammer in one hand and a weapon in the other, with a backpack on her shoulders. Fire burns in the background, and actor Vedang Raina is seen alongside her. Sharing the poster, Alia wrote, “Tu mere protection mein hai,” indicating that she is protecting someone and ensuring their safety.

Just hours after posting the first look, Alia shared another poster of the film on her Instagram. In this new poster, she appears alone, with a serious expression on her face, holding a hammer with a chain-link fence behind her and flames all around. The poster suggests that Vedang Raina will be playing her brother in the film. The tagline on the second poster reads, “Time is short, and the story is big,” while the first poster’s message, “I will protect you, you are safe with me,” highlights the protective role she plays for her brother. These visuals promise intense action and suggest that Alia’s character will go to great lengths to protect her beloved sibling.

Directed by Vasan Bala and produced by Alia Bhatt in collaboration with Karan Johar, ‘Jigra’ is set to hit the screens on October 11.
