Nayab Saini Becomes 11th Chief Minister of Haryana, 11 Cabinet Ministers and 2 State Ministers Also Take Oath

 

Chandigarh: Haryana’s Governor Bandaru Dattatreya administered the oath of office and secrecy to Nyab Saini, the MLA from Ladwa, as the 11th Chief Minister of the 15th Assembly. Along with him, the Governor also administered the oath to 11 cabinet ministers and two state ministers.

The oath-taking ceremony took place at Dussehra Maidan in Panchkula on Thursday, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP National President JP Nadda, along with several chief ministers from various states and thousands of party workers.

During the ceremony, Governor Dattatreya first administered the oath to Nyab Saini as Chief Minister. Following the protocol, the second oath was taken by Anil Vij, the MLA from Ambala Cantonment, as a cabinet minister. The third oath was taken by Krishna Lal Panwar, the MLA from Israna, followed by Rao Narbir Singh, the MLA from Badshahpur, who was sworn in as well. The Governor then administered the oath to Mahipal Dhanda, the MLA from Panipat Rural, as the fifth minister, followed by Vipul Goel from Faridabad, Dr. Arvind Kumar Sharma from Gohana, Shyam Singh Rana from Radaur, Ranbir Gangwa from Barwala, and Krishna Kumar Bedi from the Narwana constituency as ministers.

The 11th minister sworn in was Shruti Chaudhary, the MLA from Tosham, followed by Aarti Singh Rao, the daughter of Union Minister Rao Inderjit Singh from Ateli, Rajesh Nagar from the Tighra constituency as independent charge state minister, and Gaurav Gautam from Palwal as state minister with independent charge.

The ceremony also witnessed the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and other dignitaries including state governors and various MPs from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. A notable aspect of the oath-taking ceremony was the arrangement of separate blocks for athletes, farmers, industrialists, employees, laborers, and other groups.
