On Monday, several districts, including Bhopal, witnessed overcast conditions, leading to a slight rise in daytime temperatures. According to the Meteorological Department, the change in weather is attributed to a western disturbance and a low-pressure area active over Rajasthan. This system is expected to peak on December 27, causing significant rainfall and hailstorm activity in regions such as Bhopal, Gwalior, and 19 other districts. Other areas may experience light rain and thunderstorms.

December 25: Fog is expected in districts such as Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Sheopur, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Sagar, Ashoknagar, and Guna.
December 26: Light rainfall will likely occur in districts like Indore, Ujjain, Neemuch, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Ratlam, Jhabua, Alirajpur, Dhar, Barwani, Khargone, Dewas, Khandwa, Burhanpur, Pandhurna, Chhindwara, Narsinghpur, and Sagar, with chances of thunderstorms in most of these areas.
December 27: An orange alert for heavy rain, hailstorms, and thunderstorms has been issued for Bhopal, Gwalior, Sheopur, Morena, Bhind, Alirajpur, Barwani, Khargone, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Harda, Dewas, Sehore, Shajapur, Betul, Narmadapuram, Raisen, Sagar, Narsinghpur, Chhindwara, and Pandhurna. Thunderstorms are also expected in districts like Indore, Ujjain, Dhar, Jhabua, Ratlam, Mandsaur, Agar-Malwa, Neemuch, Rajgarh, Vidisha, Guna, Ashoknagar, Shivpuri, Datia, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Chhatarpur, Damoh, Panna, Satna, Jabalpur, Katni, and Umaria.

- Pachmarhi: 7.9°C

- Umaria: 9.4°C
In major cities, Indore recorded the highest temperature at 14.6°C, followed by Ujjain at 13.5°C, Jabalpur at 10.4°C, Bhopal at 10.2°C, and Gwalior at 9.3°C.
