Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ Breaks Records in Earnings, Surpasses ‘Baahubali 2’
New Delhi: South superstar Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rule is currently creating a storm at the box office. Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2 was released in theaters on December 5. Once again, the pairing of Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna is being widely appreciated. The film has created history this past Sunday, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film ever. It has surpassed the earnings record set by SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster Baahubali 2. Pushpa 2 has already earned ₹1062.9 crore in just 18 days.
Allu Arjun’s highly anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule is making more money in the Hindi belt than in the South. It is now the highest-grossing film in the Hindi language. Pushpa 2 has earned ₹679.65 crore in the Hindi language alone in 18 days. The film also earned ₹10.65 crore from paid previews. On its first day, Allu Arjun’s film broke several records, earning ₹164.25 crore at the Indian box office. According to initial reports from Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 made ₹33.25 crore on its 18th day. So far, the total collection of the film stands at ₹1062.9 crore.
Directed by Sukumar, Pushpa 2: The Rule has now surpassed the record of Baahubali 2, which held the title for the highest-grossing film in India for seven years. Baahubali 2 earned ₹1030.42 crore in India across all languages. Pushpa 2 has now earned ₹1062.9 crore, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of all time.
