Government Should Respect the Hard Work of Youth: Babulal Marandi

Ranchi (Jharkhand): BJP’s state president and Leader of Opposition, Babulal Marandi, has criticized the state government.

On Thursday, Marandi took to social media platform X, stating that the government was ultimately forced to change its policy regarding the recruitment process of excise constables. However, this change came only after nearly 20 young aspirants lost their lives due to extreme heat during the physical efficiency test.

He accused the Hemant government of forcing young candidates to run under the scorching sun for electoral gains. Now that three months have passed since the elections, why has the recruitment process been put on hold? He questioned why the government, which acted swiftly to put the youth at risk, cannot ensure their rightful appointments with the same urgency.

He warned the Chief Minister that no excuses would be accepted now. The hard work of the youth must be respected, and the government should complete all pending procedures without delay and issue appointment letters immediately.
