Public Holiday Declared in Uttarakhand on March 15 for Parvatya Holi

Dehradun (Utrakhand): The Uttarakhand government has declared a public holiday on Saturday, March 15, in view of Parvatya Holi. The decision was taken as per the directives of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

According to the notification issued by Anoop Kumar Mishra, Deputy Secretary of the General Administration Department, all government and non-government offices, educational institutions, and schools under the state government will remain closed on March 15 for the occasion of Parvatya Holi. However, this holiday will not be applicable to banks, treasuries, and sub-treasuries.

This decision by the state government is seen as a significant step in honoring the rich cultural traditions of Uttarakhand, allowing residents to celebrate the vibrant festival of Parvatya Holi with great enthusiasm.
