UP STF Tightens Grip, Another Member of Fake Registry Gang Arrested

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) :  The Uttar Pradesh STF (Special Task Force) continues its stern action in the fake registry scam involving the LDA (Lucknow Development Authority). After arresting six members of the gang and sending them to jail, the STF achieved another significant success on Tuesday by arresting an active member of the scam, Sushil Mishra.

This arrest comes at a time when a sensational revelation has been made about 24 out of 45 files related to LDA land allotments mysteriously going missing. The STF had already submitted a report on 21 missing files to the government, but no trace has been found of the remaining files, deepening the mystery surrounding the case.

Earlier, STF had arrested Achleshwar Gupta, Mukesh Maurya, Dhananjay Singh, Ram Bahadur Singh, Rahul Singh, and Sachin in connection with the scam. They had recovered 23 fake registry documents, bank passbooks, and cheques from the arrested individuals.

According to STF sources, the gang had set up a network to illegally register government lands in the names of individuals, with suspected involvement of some employees from the LDA. STF’s investigation is ongoing, and further revelations are expected.
