Manushi Chhillar Returns to Miss World Stage with Emotional Full Circle Moment
Mumbai : Former Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar made a poignant and inspiring return to the Miss World stage, but this time as a distinguished judge. The 72nd Miss World pageant, held on May 31, 2025, at the HITEX Exhibition Center in Hyderabad, saw Thailand’s Suchata Chuangsri crowned as Miss World 2025 by outgoing titleholder Kristýna Pysková of the Czech Republic. For Manushi, who won the crown in 2017 in China, this return marked a full-circle moment. Now a successful actress and public figure, she took her place on the other side of the judging panel — the same platform that launched her into global fame.
She expressed her gratitude on Instagram, saying it was an honor to be invited as a judge. Witnessing another young woman’s life change through the same crown was an emotional experience for her. Manushi’s presence as a judge in a Miss World edition hosted in India further underscored her evolving role in empowering women and celebrating global achievements. Her journey from contestant to judge symbolizes not just professional growth but continued dedication to the Miss World mission.
