CM Rekha Gupta will be the Chief Guest at Shyam Lal College’s 61st Annual Day Function on June 9.
New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta will be the Chief Guest at Shyam Lal College’s 61st Annual Day & Prize Distribution Function to be Held on June 9.
Prof. Rabi Narayan Kar, Principal of Shyam Lal College, University of Delhi, announced that the college will celebrate its Shashti Poorthi (completion of sixty years) with the 61st Annual Day and Prize Distribution Function scheduled to be held on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 10:00 AM in the college premises.
Hon’ble Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, Government of NCT of Delhi, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Prof. Kar informed that Prof. Balaram Pani, Dean of Colleges, University of Delhi; Sh. Manoj Kumar Tiwari, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (North East Delhi); and Sh. Jitendra Mahajan, Hon’ble Member of Legislative Assembly (Rohtas Nagar), will be present as Guests of Honour.
The event will be presided over by Smt. Savita Gupta, Hon’ble Chairperson of the Governing Body of Shyam Lal College.
Prof. Kar stated that this special occasion will commemorate the Shashti Poorthi of the institution, honour its academic legacy, recognize student achievements, and reflect upon the remarkable contributions made by the college to education and society over the past six decades.
