PM Narendra Modi Lays Foundation Stones and Inaugurates Key Development Projects in Water, Rail, and Power Sectors

Siwan (Bihar) :  During his visit to Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for several key development projects in water, rail, and electricity sectors in Siwan. These projects aim to accelerate regional development, strengthen basic infrastructure, and improve the quality of life for citizens.

Addressing a large public gathering, the Prime Minister said, “This is the time for Bihar to become the engine of the nation’s development. The projects we are launching today will become milestones in transforming Bihar into a self-reliant, capable, and prosperous state in the coming years.”

🚆 Railway Projects:
PM Modi inaugurated new railway lines and electrification projects passing through Siwan.

He also laid the foundation for the modernization of railway stations, which will significantly enhance the travel experience for passengers with improved amenities and infrastructure.

💧 Water Projects:
Under the Har Ghar Nal Yojana (Tap Water for Every Household Scheme), several villages in Siwan district will be connected to clean drinking water supply systems.

Special emphasis was laid on the expansion of rural water supply networks and promotion of water conservation initiatives.

⚡ Power Sector Development:
To ensure reliable and uninterrupted electricity, the Prime Minister laid the foundation for new transmission lines and substations in the region.

These projects are expected to deliver quality power supply even in remote rural areas, boosting productivity and ease of living.

PM Modi emphasized that these projects are not just about bricks and mortar but are “the foundation of Bihar’s bright future.” He assured the people that the Central Government is fully committed to the holistic development of Bihar.

The event was also attended by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Union Minister Ashwini Choubey, and several senior leaders and officials.

These initiatives are expected to bring transformative changes, not just in Siwan but across eastern and northern Bihar, paving the way for economic and social upliftment on a large scale.
