President Droupadi Murmu to Visit Uttar Pradesh Today
New Delhi: President of India, Smt. Droupadi Murmu, will be on a two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh starting June 30. She will first attend the 11th convocation ceremony of the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) in Bareilly as the chief guest. Later in the day, the President will travel to Gorakhpur to participate in the first convocation ceremony of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Gorakhpur.
On July 1, President Murmu will inaugurate the Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath AYUSH University in Gorakhpur. During her visit, she will also inaugurate several key facilities within the university, including the auditorium, academic block, and Panchakarma Centre. Additionally, she will lay the foundation stone for a new women’s hostel at the university.
The President’s visit highlights her support for the growth of academic and healthcare institutions in the state. Elaborate security and reception arrangements have been made by the Uttar Pradesh government and local authorities to welcome her. President Murmu’s presence is expected to inspire students and staff and mark a significant moment in the educational and healthcare development of the region.
