President Murmu Announces Major Appointments – New Governors for Haryana, Goa, and Lieutenant Governor for Ladakh
New Delhi : In a significant reshuffle in gubernatorial appointments, President Droupadi Murmu has appointed new Governors for Haryana and Goa, and a new Lieutenant Governor for the Union Territory of Ladakh.
According to the official communiqué released by Rashtrapati Bhavan:
🔹 Professor Ashim Kumar Ghosh has been appointed as the new Governor of Haryana.
🔹 Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju has been named the new Governor of Goa.
🔹 Kavindra Gupta has been appointed as the Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
Additionally, President Murmu has accepted the resignation of Brigadier (Dr.) B.D. Mishra (Retd.) from the post of Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh.
These appointments are being seen as a strategic move by the central government to further strengthen administrative leadership across the country. All newly appointed officials are known for their extensive experience and commitment to public service.
Following these changes, political and administrative activity has intensified in the respective states and Union Territory. The newly appointed dignitaries are expected to be sworn in soon by the President.
