New Book by Poet and Author Geeta Jha reveals life lessons from the less studied Vridharunyak Upanishad
New Delhi : Delhi-based Hindi author and poet, Geeta Jha has released her 24th book “Yatharth ki Khoj Mein” that reveals spiritual insights from the lesser studied Vridharunyak Upnishad in poetic form. The book throws light on how to navigate life when faced with difficult situations, particularly when interacting with different kinds of people. Further the book emphasises the status of women in society. Speaking at the launch, Dr Dharmendra Shastri, Ex- Secretary, Delhi Sanskrit Academy, Delhi Government said, “The book brings to the fore the essence of the Vridharunyak Upanishad in a simple and engaging manner. The work brings a complex yet, important scripture in a simplified, digestible way to the lay reader. Dr. Vidya Prasad Mishr, Advisor, Indira Gandhi Rasthriya Kala Kendra, Government of India, said the book highlights 6 important adhyayas (sections) from the Sanskrit scripture in a simple manner, in each, revealing some subtle life lessons. The work in the book will take society to new heights, he shared.
Some of the previous books by Geeta Jha include Jeevan Mrityu, Jab AAyee Kavita Milne, Aatmavishwaas Aur Safalta, Bachpan se Pachpan Tak and Krishna Ya Arjun Nahin, Main Hoon Aam AAdmi. Jha has been writing poetry since the age of 13 and her recent work is widely read especially by the Gurukul and Arya SAmaj community and Hindi Literature societies.
