East India Title Boxing Championship 2025 Concludes Grandly in Ranchi — West Bengal Crowned Overall Champion, Jharkhand Dominates with Gold Medals

Ranchi (Jharkhand): The East India Title Boxing Championship 2025, organized by the Indian Amateur Boxing Federation (IABF), concluded with great grandeur and enthusiasm in Ranchi. The championship witnessed participation from hundreds of male and female boxers representing Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, and West Bengal.

Showcasing exceptional performance, West Bengal emerged as the Overall Champion, while Jharkhand’s boxers created history by bagging multiple gold medals across various categories.

The grand closing ceremony was graced by Dr. Rakesh Mishra, National President of the Indian Amateur Boxing Federation, who felicitated the winners with trophies, cash prizes, and mementos. He also announced cash rewards worth several lakhs for outstanding boxers. Special guest Mr. Dhingra lauded the participants for their dedication and sportsmanship, extending best wishes for their bright future.

The event was successfully organized under the leadership of Mr. Sanjeev Kumar, President of the East India Amateur Boxing Federation, and Mr. Rajiv Banerjee, Secretary. Both expressed heartfelt gratitude to the participating teams, coaches, medical staff, and referees for their support. The organizers also extended special thanks to the Government of Jharkhand for providing the stadium and necessary facilities.

The atmosphere was filled with patriotism as the National Anthem marked the conclusion of the championship, followed by boxers proudly taking home their medals and trophies.
