CM Yogi Adityanath Commemorates Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh): On the occasion of Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti, a special program was held on Tuesday at the Jupiter Hall of Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the event and paid heartfelt tributes to Maharshi Valmiki.

During the program, CM Yogi described Maharshi Valmiki as a guiding figure in the tradition of great personalities. He recalled how Valmiki once asked the sage Narad, “Who is a person of character about whom I can write?” Recognizing that only a person of noble character can serve as a true agent of public and human welfare, Valmiki sought to inspire through his writings.

CM Yogi also took a swipe at opposition parties, stating that those who criticize Lord Ram are indirectly insulting Maharshi Valmiki. “Disrespecting Maharshi Valmiki is disrespecting Lord Ram,” he emphasized. He further noted that the international airport in Ayodhya was not developed by the Samajwadi Party, and when it was eventually named after Maharshi Valmiki, the party opposed it.

Highlighting recent developments, CM Yogi stated that the country’s first international airport named after Maharshi Valmiki has been established in Ayodhya, and a temple dedicated to Valmiki, among the Sapt Rishis, has been constructed at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi site.

The program was attended by several dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Legislative Council member Dr. Nirmal Prasad, Rajya Sabha MP Dr. Dinesh Sharma, Brijlal, and other prominent figures.
