“Even 100 Shahabuddins Can’t Stop Us”: Amit Shah Challenges RJD from Siwan

Siwan (Bihar): As the Bihar Assembly elections 2025 heat up, political rhetoric is intensifying. Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed an election rally in Siwan today, launching a sharp attack on the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

Amit Shah said, “Even if 100 Shahabuddins come, they cannot stop the NDA. The people of Bihar now vote for development and good governance, not for terror and crime.”

Criticizing the policies of the Grand Alliance (Mahagathbandhan), he stated that the public has understood the politics of showmanship and the protection of criminals. Shah highlighted the development initiatives and welfare measures undertaken by the NDA government, asserting that the people will vote once again for NDA to form a government of good governance and development.

Amit Shah recalled the notorious record of Shahabuddin, describing him as an A-category history-sheeter with around 75 cases, two jail sentences, involvement in a triple murder, an attack on a Superintendent of Police, and heinous attacks on a businessman’s sons. Shah said, “The brave people of Siwan never bowed before Shahabuddin. His son was even given a ticket from Raghunathpur by Lalu Prasad Yadav himself. Now, under the leadership of Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi, even if 100 Shahabuddins come, no one can harm you.”

The Home Minister added that the opposition is completely fragmented ahead of the Bihar elections. During the rally, he warned that no infiltrator will be allowed to stay in Bihar or any other part of the country. Amit Shah said, “Rahul Gandhi says infiltrators should be allowed to stay in Siwan… I promise you that if you vote for the NDA, we will remove every infiltrator from the country.”

Shah further stated that Bihar will celebrate the ‘real Diwali’ on November 14, when Lalu’s son faces a humiliating defeat in the elections. He praised Nitish Kumar for ending the ‘Jungle Raj’, stating that Bihar was freed from lawlessness, and even after 20 years, the elections are being fought under Nitish Kumar’s leadership. Shah saluted the people of Siwan, saying, “For 20 years, this land bore the ‘Jungle Raj’ of the Lalu-Rabri government. The people of Siwan endured anarchy, murders, and other crimes, but they never bowed and fought against lawlessness.”

The rally saw a massive turnout of local supporters and party workers, who applauded and cheered Amit Shah’s speech with enthusiasm.
