Bombay Dyeing’s nationwide crackdown: crackdown on counterfeit products

Mumbai : Bombay Dyeing, one of India’s oldest and most trusted home textile brands, has intensified its nationwide crackdown on counterfeit products with raids in cities including Kolkata, Hyderabad, Kerala, and a prominent mall in Mumbai. The brand discovered that counterfeiters were misusing its identity by selling fake goods with a purple logo, while the authentic Bombay Dyeing logo is blue.
Customers have been urged to always check the logo and packaging when purchasing to ensure they are buying genuine products. Bombay Dyeing’s CFO, Khiroda Jena, stated that the company’s mission goes beyond brand protection and is about safeguarding the trust of its customers. The company is committed to collaborating with local authorities, retail partners, and industry stakeholders to combat counterfeit products and maintain fairness and transparency in the market.
